Well, that ended fast.
Former Heisman trophy winning quarterback Tim Tebow tried to venture into baseball recently, singing a developmental contract with the New York Mets. Tebow fans had hoped he could get a chance to prove himself in spring training, and possibly even get a minor league deal.
Not so fast my friend.
Tebow did not receive an invite to Mets spring training, so it appears his short lived professional baseball career may be over. Maybe he’ll get a chance somewhere else, but I doubt it.
